circa 2nd-3rd century AD

Ring size: O

The band slants outwards on either side, creating an overall rhomboid shape in the outer shaping of the ring, whilst the inside is typically circular.

Condition: Intact

Literature: For a ring of similar shape and design, though crafted in gold, and a discussion of the ring type, see S. Hindman et al (eds.), 'Cycles of Life: Rings from the Benjamin Zucker Family Collection' (London, 2014), p. 46, no. 4.
