A wheel or spiked-disc brooch of a type found across Celtic Europe. Six spokes radiate from a central raised boss. The flat panel of the outer rim decorated with an incised scallop motif. The whole surface gilded. On the reverse the pin and clasp remain intact across the diameter of the brooch.

Condition: Intact; some gilt has been rubbed off with age
