Near Eastern bronze duck weight
Mesopotamian, 2nd-1st millennium BC
Length: 4.8 cm; Height; 3 cm
The stylised bird is shown with long neck arched back, the incised beak touching its wings. The body, rounded with flaring tail, sits on a flat base.
Condition: Intact, with a very pale green patina and patches of a brown encrustation.
